Well Design, Planning & Execution

This is our core business. We provide our clients with complete management, engineering and operations teams that take full responsibility for the design and delivery of oil and gas wells. However, we can also provide resources to Operators that have some core well engineering capabilities in-house but need to supplement these during the detailed planning and operations phases.

IPS has developed a Well Operations Management System that provides a framework for safe, efficient and consistent management of drilling operations. This is achieved by defining the roles and responsibilities of the key positions involved in managing and executing our well engineering projects, and the operational procedures and policies relating to those activities.

Where applicable, the IPS Well Operations Management System can be bridged to the Client’s existing technical and HSE management systems to provide a unified and consistent management framework.

The Well Construction Process

The Well Construction Process (WCP) is a key element of the Well Operations Management System, identifying the key steps a well planning and execution project and linking these to the individuals responsible for ensuring their successful completion.
