IPS Continues to Strive for Quality

IPS Australasia has recently engaged the services of an independent Quality Management Consultant to assist the management team with the development and implementation of a quality-based system for its core well engineering and project planning business.
The initial pre-assessment carried out by the Quality Management Consultants identified that IPS are already part way along the road to formal certification due to the structured Project Management Methodology currently in use by its project teams.
In parallel with the development and implementation of the updated Quality Management System, IPS will also look to implement online document management and workflow systems, which is expected to yield significant benefits to its geographically dispersed organisation.
“Our goal is to secure independent ISO-9001 approval within 12 months. The management of IPS recognise that our organisation and our clients’ organisations will benefit significantly from our implementation of an ISO compliant Quality Management System” commented Brad Girdwood, Operations Manager for IPS.
