MDA Golf Classic

IPS Australasia are proud sponsors of the 2009 Muscular Dystrophy Association Golf Classic and provided a team of budding players to the event in March 2009.

“It was more about the taking-part than the quality of the play” commented team captain Tyler Ward after a long and enjoyable day of golf. A respectable score on the day gave the IPS team the honour of ‘most honest golfers’.

IPS Managing Director, Dermot O’Keeffe and his wife Janice are heavily involved in fund raising activities for MDA in Western Australia. Janice raised more than $40,000 in sponsorship for taking part in a gruelling trek in the highlands of Nepal in November 2008.

The IPS team are looking forward to taking part in the event again in 2010.
